I started school in January '09 to get a BA in History with the goal of eventually becoming a librarian. I was really excited about it, since it was my first time ever going to college.

I love learning which was part of the reason I was so excited to start.

I'm very liberal, on most things, though there are a few exceptions. I was totally 100% for Obama winning the presidency & am thrilled he did! Finally some hope for this country... Though I try not to dislike anyone, people who are judgmental, bigoted, racist, prejudiced, rude, inconsiderate &/or the like, make it very hard for me. I'm against cruelty & violence, especially when involving children or animals. I'm an open-minded person & I accept & embrace the fact that all people are different. Even if others don't have the same opinions, beliefs, etc., as I do, or do things that I don't, I don't (or at least try not to) judge them for it. The fact that I've spent my whole life dealing with those who are or were cruel & intolerant to me is surely, partly the reason for this.

I love writing, it's one of the very few things I'm really good at. My hope is to someday be published.

I love Gothic & Russian architecture & the Victorian era.

I'm not at all religious in any way, shape, or form, but I am spiritual. I believe in evolution. But I also believe in God. I believe God put everything here to eventually evolute into something else.

I have a rather odd sense of humor which I rarely express because no one understands it.

I've very rarely ever drank in my life & am not a big fan of it, though I can't actually say I'll never do it again. I've never used drugs & never will. It just doesn't appeal to me at all.

I'm very quiet around people most of the time. I have a hard time talking to people & it is incredibly hard for me to deal with social situations, which is why I usually keep myself away from them. Some people consider me shy, but it actually goes far beyond that. I've suffered from very serious social anxiety for nearly all my life. So serious that it's kept me from doing virtually everything that "normal" people have done. This last couple of years, I've been working to overcome those social barriers, though.

I spend way too much time daydreaming.

I love mythology & fantasy & believe wholeheartedly that fairies do, in fact, exist.

I also love writing way-too-long essays in the "About Me" section of my profile lol.
