ABOUT ME

Hey, my name's Jonathan - I'm a unique, quirky, geeky, gothy, eccentric type of person. I'm friendly, open-minded, witty and a loyal caring friend once you get to know me.

I like listening to music (alternative rock mostly) watching movies and television (horror, sci-fi, comedy, etc) playing video games, walks in the countryside with my two dogs, swimming, socialising, going to gigs and lots more.

I'm quite a shy person but once I get to know someone I can open up to them and express my unique personality fully.

I don't work presently, but I am an enthusiastic volunteer with two local charities. I volunteer at a day centre run by the national mental health charity Mind, helping with refreshments, activities, talking to service users, etc, and I also volunteer for a local charity helping to recycle and refurbish old computers.

I'm hoping to meet new accepting, open-minded, supportive friends with similar interests and issues and also I'd like to meet someone special too.

Ultimately I think I'm glad that I've experienced relationships despite the awful way in which they always seem to end. I'm glad for the fond memories of when I was happy and in love. If only it didn't have to end the way that it always does.

mind if i ask ya a question?? did your parents give ya the love and attention you needed as a kid?? mine didn't they abused me instead ,that's the cuz of all the mental crap i have to deal with as an adult there responsible for it but you know what?? women can take advantage of us easily as long as we're too needy for love i've got some other issues that make it helluve lot more complicated for me but i'm gonna focus on myself and my well being from now on

In answer to your question no I don't think my parents ever gave me the attention I needed when I was growing up. I don't blame them for this really. I've always been emotionally sensitive and very prone to emntal health problems (depression, anxiety, OCD) and so if I was ever to develop into a fairly normal happy person I would have needed a lot of attention, probably more than they could realistically give. I have a big family and I've always been overlooked and neglect by my parents and other family memebers. I don't blame them for really, it's just the way things turned out sadly.

If you don't mind me asking what other issues do you have that make things complicated for you?
