Since I've seen some confusion the the internet about whether the new Tim Burton movie is based on the game (its not), just thought I'd post some movies from the game released in 2000 (and its trailer) to show they are completely different. Also, there *is* a movie version in the works, or at least has been - but Tim Burton's is not connected to it.

First, the awesome trailer:

And the opening scene from the game (showing that her parents died and she was committed to a mental institution):

There's more cutscenes from within the game on Youtube but they are pretty poor quality, and the game does look dated (10 years old).

Anyway, enjoy!

*edit: Just adding a link, this is the Alice (psychiatric) Casebook included with the game:

It is coming back now that Alice has. I saw a poster in Spencer's the other day. They're resurrection all Alice memorabilia for profit. I tried to play that game so many times, but my computer isn't compatible. Pisses me off! What i did experience was creepy, very. I love the idea of wonderland going mad and everything turning dark.

I love twisted takes on stories. The art design in that game was very unique and wild for its time.

Speaking of resurrecting.. there is a videogame sequel in the works..
