Reading mostly non-fiction,my laptop,music all kinds,breakfast,dining out,coastal living,mountains,fantasy stock market,sport,being outdoors,walking,running,fishing,the smell of freshly mown grass,the African earth after a thunderstorm,vanilla,crashing waves on the beach,poetry,sparkling water,chinese food,honesty,loyalty,watching snowdrops fall,beer from different parts of the world,cats and dogs and birds,blazing fireplace,java,horlicks

Bullies and loud mouths

I have been socially anxious since a child- to some degree things have become somewhat easier over the years,aka i can work and have some social life.I find it very hard if next to impossible to partipate in activities with strangers and or people i know but for whatever reason don't feel comfortable with.That rules out homegroup and church activities etc.I have tried self medication and alcohol to combat the effects to no avail just made things worse and am trying to pluck up the courage to seek professional help till then its me and a very patient God.
